The Clock Strikes Black theme

So lately I’ve been focused on delving into each of the Wonderland characters to gain people’s interest. As more people send me questions about my novel, I realize that I haven’t really explained the themes of “The Clock Strikes Black”.

Although the major plot is that our hero, Emeline, is trapped in Wonderland and is trying to find a way back home, there is an underlying theme of time that goes throughout the entire series.

We all know about Lewis Carroll’s whimsical creatures who lived in a nonsensical world, but did we ever wonder what happens to them after years without change?

My story features how each creature has fared after being forced to endure countless years of the same mindless events day in and day out.

Each character is shown with their unique response to time’s tribulations and Emeline may find that she isn’t far from becoming mad, herself.

Is there anything you guys would want to know?

She will kill all who oppose her; such is the blood lust of a queen.
